Spending numerous years working in PR and marketing for multi-layered organizations from banking to government entities and startups, Kaila joined CallDR knowing what drives brand conversions and product launches not by mastering a marketing flavor of the week but excelling brand acceptance with real results. “It’s how you connect with real people you’re trying to help and communicate your understanding back to them is what counts” says Kaila! He is the physician editor of the Emergency Department Management Letter, a contributing editorial board member for the Emergency Department Legal Letter, and a past member and chairman of the American College of Emergency Medicine’s Medical-Legal Committee. He has published extensively on EMTALA and ED risk management issues, including the comprehensive text "Providing Emergency Care under Federal Law: EMTALA."
